The impact of Adlerian psychology
My husband lent me a book titled The Courage to Be Disliked, which I read.
I was going to write this text after finishing its sequel, The Courage to Be Happy.
However, it is already after 8.30pm in Japan, so I will write this text first.
The two books are an introduction to Alfred Adler's personal psychology.
They are written in an easy-to-understand way and are very interesting.
Adler's way of thinking is also interesting.
He does not focus on trauma.
He does not see life as a continuous story.
He thinks of it as a series of dots in the here and now.
I understood it that way.
History is just a story that has been arbitrarily compiled by the rulers at that point in time.
My thought after reading these books is that I should stop acting as a victim.
Because it's not cool.
I felt uncool myself.
I'm easily influenced and now I'm all about Adler.
I wish I had known him earlier.
