Lunch with a senior colleague
She came to my desk and asked me, 'How are you?'
'I'm pretty well', I answered.
She continued, 'Shall we go for a lunch?'
'Sure', I replied.
We took seats in a Tempura restaurant.
Tempura is a kind of Japanese dish.
They fry shrimp, vegetables and fish thinly coated with flour mixed with water.
She said to me, 'Your workload seems to be heavier recently. Are you alright with that?'
I answered, 'I'm alright. I asked my boss to give me more tasks, because being idle at work makes me feel empty.'
Then our chat shifted to home appliances, especially HotCook and electric ovens.
Both of us use these cooking appliances.
I was surprised that she noticed my tasks have been increasing.
