Neck stiffness
I have started learning a new piece of music.
The piece that I sang at the concert didn't require a wide range of pitches.
The new piece requires a much wider range.
When I try to produce a high note, I tend to tense up my neck.
My teacher touched the back of my neck, and was surprised at how stiff it was.
It is difficult to understand how to stretch my neck when its muscles are stiff.
I noticed that my posture wasn't good in the concert video.
Bad posture every day makes my neck and shoulders stiff.
