Complete the task

Today is a national holiday in Japan.
From morning until afternoon, I was doing the bookkeeping for the household accounts.
I hadn't closed the accounts for July and hadn't started the pages for August.
By the time I had finished the bookkeeping for 11 August, it was three o'clock in the afternoon.
I had to calculate the weekly budget, but I was to tired to press the calculator keys.

I'd like to stop buying in bulk.
For example, I had bought six toothbrushes at a time.
However, I can hardly use up six toothbrushes in a month.
Bulk buying makes us feel like we're getting a good deal, but that's not true.

I'm trying to reduce my use of credit cards because debt is a constant worry.
In Japan, there is a paying method called Pay-easy, which doesn't incur a fee.
You can use Pay-easy at some online shops.
Credit cards make transactions feel quick and easy, but I don't like them.
