Optical shop bustling with people
The optical shop was full of customers.
The shop staff must be happy to see such good frames selling so quickly.
My glasses were fixed in no time.
I was told how to avoid a period of time without my spectacles when only the lenses are changed in the same frame.
When I had my glasses adjusted, they were as comfortable as if I had bought new ones, and I felt that if they were so good, I should have come for an adjustment much earlier.
In the morning, I cleaned the books and laid them all out on my new desk, separating the ones I wanted to give away from the ones I wanted to keep.
The amount of books I wanted to keep was so large that I knew this was going to be a bit of a problem.
There were more language books than I had expected.
I should have given up on Chinese, but I didn't want to give up my books.
The same goes for Brazilian Portuguese.
The Chinese I can speak now is 'I want to eat Beijing Duck'.
And when it comes to Brazilian Portuguese, I can only remember 'good morning'.
I am feeling a bit tired.
Worrying about money seems to be making me tired.
