I thought it was just a box or a board
My husband said he had books written about Python, so he lent me two.
'Introduction to Programming with Game Centre Arashi: Manga Edition, Hello Python'
and,
'Sound Programming with Python : Signal Processing of Computer Music'.
I used to read Game Centre Arashi when I was a very young child, so when I saw Arashi touching a computer in the modern world, I was kind of dizzy.
Arashi is still the same old Arashi, a schoolboy, but the world is modern.
But if the arashi had grown old and become an old man as he matured, that would be hard to understand.
Yes, I am reading Hello Python first, because sound programming seems so difficult.
But I don't know what kind of people Hello Python is aimed at.
It's set up in such a way that Arashi has no knowledge of terms like install, download and window.
This is quite unnatural.
However, there will always be people in the modern world who have never touched a computer at all.
Given this, it is fair to say that the manga is kindly designed.
The fact that it is a comic book does not make the content any easier, and I became very sleepy around 'Chapter 5: Let's use variables'.
I felt I had to update this website first.
But the book uses Windows as a matter of course, and the codes are written on Windows.
The environment was also suddenly downloading the latest version of Python as usual.
And IDLE is used.
What is this?
And the difference between IDLE and Shell is not clear to me.
I want a book written in a way that Mac users can understand.
So I started reading the sound programming one on an attempt, and in the first section on acoustics, there was a mention of sine waves.
I had an experience at my first job where I needed trigonometric functions, but I didn't understand them at all, which was very troubling for me and those around me.
It was the payback for ignoring the existence of mathematics, physics and chemistry when I was in high school.
You don't realise it when you are actually learning, but these disciplines are needed in the world, and there is a world where they are commonly used.
I have digressed.
I couldn't install the latest version of Python on my current computer.
That happened at the beginning of this month.
Then, I wanted to save only the necessary data and initialise the computer once.
I have this urge.
It would be very inconvenient if I couldn't code on the computer I always carry with me.
The data I need are music and photos.
No, not only that.
It's a pain to sort out what I need and what I don't, so I've left it alone for a long time.
I will have to stop syncing with iCloud at some point.
It's very tedious.
Should I just back up everything?
Ideally, without considering reality, I would like to buy a new Mac and transfer everything I need to it one by one.
If so, why not just create a new user account on my current Mac?
