What I'm into these days
I moved from Evernote to Joplin years ago.
When I bought a new Mac, Joplin stopped running.
I had no choice but to use Joplin from my Linux machine.
And I was using my iPhone to view my Joplin notes.
When I bought a new iPhone, Joplin stopped synchronising. ← NOW!
I use Dropbox for storage.
Reading the Joplin forum I can't find
anyone else with the same thing happening
at the same time as me.
There was a person on Reddit
who could not start Joplin on the person's Mac.
I want to give up on Joplin and migrate to a paid app or whatever.
I'm not a Linux expert, so the migration process is depressing.
Joplin contains the text of diaries I have written in the past
on various social networking sites.
I have to do it.
And until now, I have been using Joplin as a backup
for my private diary kept on Notion.
Maybe I don't need Notion's backup.
I am stuck in a roundabout way.
There are no articles on the Japanese web
about people having problems with Joplin.
I liked Joplin a lot, but there is nothing
I can do about this with my knowledge.
Should I consult the forum using a translator or ChatGPT?
But I don't feel like relying on Joplin much anymore.
Before Notion, I used TidlyWiki.
Is there any useful, multi-platform diary-friendly notebook app?
Note: I export data from Joplin in markdown
and import the exported markdown into Notion
using Notion's paid plan trial.
It seems to be taking a bit of time.
