Manami Suzuki Piano Recital
I purchased the tickets because the pianist would play Franz Schubert's 'Four Impromptus D 899 Op.90'.
I used to play two pieces from Four Impromptus when I was a child.
I suddenly remembered the feeling at that time while I was listening to Suzuki's performance.
That made my hands and soul warm.
I was surprised at seeing the programme had three pieces in C-minor.
Ludwig van Beethoven's the 32nd Piano Sonata' was one of those and I liked it very much.
I especially enjoyed Suzuki's long trill on the 2nd movement.
I felt her music was like storytelling.
Suzuki won the first prize on Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 2024.
I was lucky to listen to her piano in person.
