I see why now
I found out that the recording I liked was made in a JOYSOUND karaoke room.
I have been singing in DAM karaoke rooms for the past few days.
There are two major karaoke brands in Japan: DAM and JOYSOUND.
They use different audio equipment.
For example, they use different microphones and speakers.
I often told my husband that I found it easier to sing on JOYSOUND.
When I realised this, 50 per cent of my worries melted away.
Today, I used a JOYSOUND room at the karaoke bar.
When I sang quiet songs on DAM, I'm bothered by lip noise.
I hadn't realised there was a difference before, but perhaps my perception has changed.
