Feeling lonely at work
Today, I talked to my therapist about my anxiety at work.
She pointed out that I was feeling lonely at work.
She was right: I feel alienated at work, and am unable to make even small talk.
I don’t know how to talk to people there.
By the way...
The publisher of the household bookkeeping paper book sent me an advert for a cloud-based household bookkeeping service.
I tried it several years ago, but I couldn't get used to the user interface.
Seeing the advertising email made me want to try the service again.
It's paperless, and I don't think it needs monthly closing.
The balances of each account will be visible, as will the remaining budget for the month.
It is on the internet and we can access it via a web browser.
We can input receipts and payments every day on our smartphones, and view the aggregated data on a computer screen.
We are going to trial it in 2025 and switch from paper to it in 2026.
