I don't know when it will happen

I enjoy singing and leading an easy-going lifestyle, but to be honest, I'm afraid of earthquakes and sudden wars.
As long as I live in Japan, I can't avoid earthquakes.
The area around Tokyo has a higher potential for huge earthquakes because it hasn't experienced ones for many years.
The last time a huge earthquake hit was on 1 September 1923, and my grandmother's sister went missing.

Whenever I'm in a lift, walking up crowded stairs or boiling water on the hob, I'm always conscious of the danger of huge earthquakes.
My late mother often told me about the 1923 earthquake.
She heard about it from the people around her while she was growing up.

I'm afraid of earthquakes and wars.
I don't believe our calm life will last forever.
