Became a member and then quit
I became a member of a Japanese newspaper publisher to read paid articles.
The first two months are free.
They seem to hold a campaign to get new members.
I found the article's title on Twitter(X).
My favourite pianist and the president of Japan Shogi Association (Yoshiharu Habu) had a talk for the article.
Shogi is a Japanese board game like Chess.
I have promised myself to read anything about the pianist.
Member fee wasn't cheap but I can quit within 2 months.
The article was not so interesting.
I read it so hastily that I can't remember the content.
The pianist is a rising star and the Shogi president is a big star.
The article should have brought us something new or meaningful.
Several hours later, I got an email and astonished.
The newspaper publisher sent me a news which I'm not interested in.
I thought I didn't subscribed.
I logged in and found newsletters were subscribed automatically.
It's not good.
