What clear sky brings

When I woke up in the morning, I felt like I didn't want to sleep anymore.
I felt energised.
I did the laundry.
I vacuumed the bedroom.

I hung my summer quilts outside and washed and dried the covers of those quilts.
Then I switched the summer and winter clothes.
I threw away about three pure woollen knits that had been eaten by insects.

The knits that didn't have holes in them were wrinkled, so I tried to put them on the steamer.
When I did so, no steam came out of the steamer at all.
I called the shop where I bought it and asked them to take it back and repair it.
I had actually tried to request a repair directly from the manufacturer's website, but no matter how many times I put in the model number, it had been rejected.

I assembled the box and packed the steamer with crumpled up newspapers.
I arranged for the item to be picked up the following Saturday.
As the item was less than a year old, it should be covered by warranty.

I put a homemade ironing mat on the kitchen table and got out the steam iron.
I've been using it for 30 years now and it hasn't broken down at all.
It's a very durable iron.
If I had an industrial ironing board, the work would be done in no time, but I don't have one, so it took me a long time.

Industrial ironing boards have a system where the platform sucks up all the steam from the iron.
There is a pedal under the base, and when you press the pedal, the platform becomes a vacuum and the clothes flatten to the platform.
So you have to shape the garment before stepping on the pedal.
I used to work in a sewing factory for women's clothing and used an industrial ironing board.

Clothes that I was ready to throw away would look better if I brushed them with horsehair, dusted them with adhesive rollers and gave them steam.
And I also used a pilling machine.
Two pieces of clothing I was going to throw away were revived in this way.

I finished taking care of the clothes and take the quilts in, covered it and put it in the wardrobe.
I put away the laundry.
I laid out newspaper in the bathroom and trimmed my hair.
Then I shaved my face.

Finally, I opened the computer for the first time today at 5.30pm.
The sun had already set.
