Work-life balance

I prepared to update this website before I left home in the morning so that I wouldn't have to work on it in a café.
Not having a computer makes my luggage a bit lighter.
But I feel very rushed before I leave home.
All I have to do when I get home is write today's diary, run it through the translator and upload the files.

By the way, I'm not very good at keeping up appearances when using Microsoft Word software.
The indentation is not as good as I would like it to be.
There is nothing in the Microsoft Office series that I am good at.
But I'm not good at anything in Apple's.

I don't know whether I will continue to work just six hours a day, or offer to work eight hours at my next contract renewal, or whether the company hired me with the intention of making me work eight hours in the first place.
If I work eight hours, I will have less time to study.
It's after 7pm now, but if I worked eight hours I would be home by now and then I would have to take a shower and eat.
I want to save money so that I can do it working six hours a day.
But I can only work at my current wage for another 10 years, so would I be better off working eight hours a day for another 10 years?
This is exactly the question of work-life balance.

I want to work hard now and make the company think that it is OK to let me stay for eight hours a day if I work like this.
And I want them to think it is good that I have changed to eight hours a day.
If I'm going to put in the effort, I want to do it seriously and be appreciated.
I won't bring the company any new contracts or huge wealth.
But I want them to feel that they can rely on me to do lots of small things.
